How to setup inbuilt VPN

Some of us like going incognito while browsing the Internet or downloading from certain sites with certain  restrictions. But with VPN those restrictions is bypassed.  It's quite unfortunate that most if us don't know that every Android powered device comes with inbuilt VPN other than using vpn softwares like psiphon and the rest.

VPN means Virtual Private Network, it is a network that is constructed using public wires, usually the Internet, to connect remote users or regional offices to a company's private, internal network. VPN creates a safe and encrypted connection over a less secure network, such as the internet.
There are several ways to browse the internet over an encrypted network and there are several independent companies that offer VPN services at a fixed weekly, monthly or annual subscription fee. But In this article, you will be learning how to set up your phone's inbuilt VPN without any 3rd party app of software.

One the great advantage of setting up and enabling your phones custom or default VPN is that you will save a lot of battery juice from it. It's been noted that VPN apps are indeed battery suckers and may even consume more battery than Facebook Mobile app. So use the steps listed below to set up your phone inbuilt VPN.

How to Setup The In-Built (PPTP) VPN of Your Android Smartphone

The options you will see here in this post and the ones you will see in your phone might slightly differ in arrangement, but there should be some sort of similarities in all of these options, now having this in mind,
Open your phone's settings go to Wireless and Network , tap on More and you will see VPN

==>> If you already have a VPN app installed on your phone, you will the app there instantly, but if you don't have any VPN app installed on your phone, go ahead and tap on the (+Plus) sign that will either be located at the top right of your phone or at the bottom of your phone screen, depending on your phone's version and Android OS.

==>> Before making any changes to the VPN settings of your phone, you are required to first set up a password, Pin or pattern security for unlocking your phone. Setup a password, pin or pattern for unlocking your phone, or skip to the next step if you already have it enabled.

Now in the VPN settings screen, configure it with the following settings
VPN Name: ababioblog VPN
VPN Server:
Username: vpnbook
Password: wzxm337

Please note that the VPN connection might be unsuccessful a few times, so make sure you get the settings right and be patient. Also, no matter the VPN Server name you choose, username still remains vpnbook and password still remain wzxm337.
