Samsung to Unveil Galaxy S9 and S9+

Samsung has finally sent out invites for its Galaxy Unpacked 2018 event during MWC 2018 in Barcelona where it will unveil its flagship Galaxy S9 series of smartphones.

Invitations were sent to the media to attend Samsung's Press event in Barcelona, where the South Korean phone maker will announce its newest flagship: the Samsung Galaxy S9 (and S9+).
The invitation itself offers only a number 9 and the words: “The Camera. Reimagined”. So it’s safe to say we’ll be expecting some serious upping of Samsung’s camera game.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the latest member of the Galaxy family has a lot to say. On February 25, Samsung Electronics will showcase the next generation of Galaxy devices that reimagines the camera and redefines the way you share your moments.

Samsung will mark the launch of the upcoming device with the Galaxy Unpacked celebration at 6 p.m. CET on February 25, 2018 during Mobile World Congress.

It is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo with Galaxy Experience U.I on top. Speaking of cameras, we’re also expecting Samsung to offer two different camera experiences on the Samsung Galaxy S9: a single sensor on the S9 and a dual-camera sensor on the larger S9+ model. IP68 rating, Stereo speakers and earphones tuned by AKG and 3000mAh battery on the S9 and 3500mAh on the S9+, respectively.
